New Orleans

Wow, it's amazing how much we can overreact to a team simply taking care of business at home.  Denver wins its first two games at homes and is the new dark horse to win it all.  Don't underestimate New Orleans.  Well more accurately I guess I should say don't underestimate Chris Paul.  He is one of 4 guys who can win a game by themselves in the league right now.  He is just that sick.  I am begginning to hear that this is the age of the point guard, well in the age of the point guard Chris Paul is the best of the point guards.  His team is clearly overmatched by Denver but Paul may just be able to win the series by himself.

  1. I did feel a little bit too much hype coming after Denver's big 2 wins. But, compared to the Lakers, Denver won by greater margins than the Lakers. Both Utah and N.O won by 2 points at home in the 3rd game. I see Denver finishing this up in 5 like the Lakers.

  2. Does Deron Williams+Carlos Boozer=Chris Paul? Maybe.

  3. Wow. So much for that prediction. CP3 was a complete non-factor in the demoralization of the Hornets in game 4. I guess George Karl didn't like that the Nuggets didn't sweep the series, so he decided to match the greatest point value difference in playoff history. What was interesting is that scrubs played the 4th quarter. The Denver scrubs entered the 4th up by 38. By the end of the game, they had won by 58. The Nuggets' scrubs outscored the Hornets' scrubs (and CP3 didn't play the 4th at all) by 20 points. That's insane.
